Description
So, here's my contribution to the PixelPeddlers' contest SSC15.
The first screenshot shows my empty desktop with
Wallpaper: Times Square by RurouniVash
LiteStep: Strongly modified version of LSona by Folter-x
RocketDock: Self-crafted skin and Project Icons by bogo-d
Shutdown window: Self-created.
The second screenshot shows some windows arranged like bricks:
Visual Style: Extremely modified version of Fcoar 8 by neiio
Google Chrome: SoundCloud
A pinned YouTube video: Der Super-Alkoholikermann by DirtyWhitePaint; Floating YouTube by vlgalik
Explorer window (icons): Turqoise by BluPaper
Other Explorer window (wallpapers): A collection of wallpapers by FeiGiap
Photo Viewer: Found the picture somewhere on Wallhaven...; I replaced the buttons using resource hacker.
My LiteStep skin explained:
Top bar (right):
Caps lock warning (not visible in the screenshots; just a label saying 'CAPSLOCK!' when caps lock is on)
Control panel
Task manager
CMD
Sound mixer
Shutdown
User & computer name (opens notify tray on click)
Bottom bar (right):
Minimize all
Cascade all open windows
Tile all open windows
Software/Tools used to archieve these screenshots:

LiteStep by LiteStep Dev Team - To make my Windows look like a different operating system
Resource hacker by Angus Johnson - To replace some images and icons from Windows applications
Visual Studio Community Edition by Microsoft - To develop the following to apps
ScReserve - To keep screen space reserved properly without having to recycle LiteStep
Shutdown- The window in the first screenshot with the label 'Man sieht sich...'
StartLaunch - To open the windows start menu when I click the 'Starter' button
VanishBar - To keep the Windows taskbar hidden

Agree with Jamie and Dan. This has a lot of potential and I'm sure it looks good, it's just presented the wrong way. Still a solid contribution, and great work on modding a lot of stuff to get it running as you want
